Metropolitan Jungle brought nature to the centre of the city, opening the historic INPS building at Via Circo 16 for the first time. Santamarta Immobili, with Gustavo Almeida, Marco Bernabei and Biancamaria Politi, chose to support a project that brings together creativity and the quality of living.

Metropolitan Jungle: Milan between nature, design and new urban scenes
Milan Design Week 2025 once again proved to be a global crossroads of creativity, innovation and cultural exchange. Among the hundreds of events across the city, one stood out for its originality and evocative power: "Metropolitan Jungle – a Fusion of Design, Nature and Herbae Tinctoriae", supported by Santamarta Immobili as cultural partner.
The opening event welcomed more than 600 guests, who for the first time crossed the threshold of the historic INPS building at Via Circo 16, a landmark for Milan that had never before been open to the public. This place, steeped in the city's memory, was transformed into a visionary garden, weaving together botanical elements, material installations and technological experiments.
Behind the project was the sensitive, innovative direction of artist and interior designer Angela Florio (DecorAzione®), together with garden designer Francesca Paolucci (Do Your Garden®). Their ideas created a space in which nature is not mere scenery, but the protagonist of a dialogue with design and urban architecture.
The installations by Guido Toschi Marazzani Visconti, Mf Design and Thais Bernardes made the journey richer still, bringing together craft memory and cutting-edge technology, tradition and future, domestic intimacy and urban scale.

For us at Santamarta Immobili, supporting Metropolitan Jungle was not only an act of cultural patronage, but a choice to back a project that reflects the values guiding our work: attention to detail, the pursuit of excellence, respect for places and their identity.
Together with my partners Marco Bernabei and Biancamaria Politi, we saw this collaboration as an opportunity to contribute to a wider reflection on the future of the city: how we live in spaces, how we transform them, and how design can help us imagine new ways of living.
The great interest the event attracted – covered by several magazines and trade newspapers – confirms the relevance of an approach that weaves together culture, aesthetics and quality of life. Milan thus asserts itself not only as the world capital of design, but as a living laboratory of new relationships between nature, creativity and community.
For those who could not attend, the most intense moments of the evening can be relived through the official video: a visual account that captures the atmosphere of an event able to surprise and inspire.
We believe that real estate is not just square metres, but above all experiences, values and shared visions. Supporting projects like Metropolitan Jungle means continuing along this path: that of a Milan that looks ahead, without forgetting its soul.
